Business Recognition Programs: Hurry - We Want To Recognize Your SMART Business Practices This March!!!

The City of Spokane offers recognition programs to sustainable and locally owned & operated businesses. The SMART Business Recognition Program is designed to encourage Spokane businesses to adopt policies and practices that encourage good management of financial, built, natural and human capital. Similarly, businesses that are locally owned & operated can receive recognition under the "Locally Owned & Operated" Program.

For program information and applications click here. If you submit your applications (and qualify) by the end of February your business will be recognized at the Mayor's SMART Recognition Ceremony: March 10, 5pm at City Hall.

Locally Owned & Operated Program

The City has developed the Locally Owned Recognition Program to draw attention to small businesses that are owned and operated within the City. Qualified business will receive a decal to display in their windows that lets customers know they’re helping to support their local economy.
